With our changing climate and an increase in desire for outdoor leisure pursuits, we've seen a demand for bespoke buildings which match these needs. Chamberlain & Wallis can create beautiful pool buildings, gyms, games rooms or even a safe and warm children's playroom. All designs are lovingly constructed from green oak using traditional carpentry techniques. Your Chamberlain & Wallis project manager will assist you with the design to ensure it complements your existing home.

Thanks to programmes such as Grand Designs, Location, Location, Location and The Property Ladder, there's been a revival in the use of traditional oak frames in new homes. Whether it's a complete building or a guest cottage you're looking for, the benefits of oak frames are ten-fold. Not only are the exposed oak beams aesthetically pleasing but the construction methods are some of the strongest and fuel efficient around.
Every Chamberlain & Wallis oak framed building is hand made using mortice and tennon joints combined with wooden pegs to hold the frame together. This traditional method increases the strength of the building as the oak dries out.
Chamberlain & Wallis offer a complete building package for clients - from initial design and planning application to compliance with approved building regulations, groundworks, construction and roofing. The company can even design and implement landscaping if required.
